| Description | : Our programs are designed to provide sound engineering technology training to both private and public sector employees involved in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of highways and roads. Learners are supported in their studies by the department via e-mail, fax and a toll free phone number. Wherever possible assignments are field based making the courses applicable and practical for learners. Review program guide [pdf 1 MB] for details. While a substantial number of people enrol in the individual courses simply because of their interest in the subject material, others enrol in courses to gain credits towards an Associate Certificate of Technology, an Intermediate Certificate of Technology and a Certificate of Technology. While flexibility is possible, all programs of study must be approved prior to application for certification.
