Description	: At Liberty University it has been made possible for students to receive college credit for demonstrated learning through experience. This means that if you have had experience in various fields and can demonstrate learning, you might be eligible to receive college credit for your experience. In order to receive credit, students must go through the credit by portfolio process at Liberty University. However, this process can be quite time-consuming and difficult. In order to ease the difficulty of this process, Liberty has made available GEED 205 : FOUNDATIONS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS, Learning Theory & Portfolio Development GEED 205 will teach students how to put together a thorough, complete, and quality portfolio, thus earning more credit. GEED 205 is highly recommended. After completing GEED 205, students will have earned 3 college credits, which may be applied to any Liberty undergraduate program of study. Students are strongly urged to complete their portfolios through the GEED 205 course.

Liberty University is a Christian university in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was founded in 1971 by conservative Christian Jerry Falwell, who is also the Senior Pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church. The University is very competitive in sports and it is a member of the Division I level Big South Conference for 17 sports. The University regularly wins the Sasser Cup which is the Big South's trophy for the university which has the winningest sports program among the member institutions. Dr. Falwell's vision is to build the university as big as Notre Dame and Brigham Young University one day with 25,000 students on campus and another 25,000 in External Degree Programs. Students who live on campus attend convocation three times per week where they learn from speakers in all walks of professional life. Past speakers have included Sam Donaldson, the first President Bush, Billy Graham and Sean Hannity.
