The Internet is the force driving the changing world of business. Today, business graduates must be as comfortable with a laptop and a Website as their fathers were with a briefcase and a calculator. The Business/e-Business program provides for a blend of traditional business fundamentals and a command of the skills necessary to compete in the emerging worlds of e-business and e-commerce.
In Mt. Sierra College’s Business/e-Business degree program, you will come to understand the fundamentals of business in the emerging world of national and global commerce. You will study micro- and macro- economics; you will master business accounting; you will discuss and debate issues of law and ethics, commerce and government policies; you will develop an understanding of management theory and cross-cultural management; you will gain insight into promotion and advertising strategies. Guided by the Mt. Sierra College faculty in class room environments, labs, small seminars and one-on-one conversations that are all so much a part of the Mt. Sierra College experience, you will gain a keen awareness of how all these different factors inter-relate with and influence one another, with a special emphasis on the new fields of e-business and e-commerce.
The Business/e-Business program uniquely emphasizes programming concepts, database management systems, systems analysis and design, Internet programming, rapid application development, e-Business marketing management, and entrepreneurship. |
