Description	: The Master of Engineering: Mechanical (MEM) program consists of 30 credit hours of graduate level coursework. Coursework must be completed with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The requirements are designed to provide a general program and to allow for some concentration of study within Mechanical Engineering. It will be possible to complete this program taking courses in the late afternoon, early evening, and/or in a distance format for part-time students. Engineering Outreach can help facilitate part-time graduate education.

The University of Delaware (UD OR UDel) is the largest university in the state of Delaware. The main campus is located in Newark, with satellite campuses in Dover, Wilmington, and Lewes. The school is currently headed by President David Roselle. It is medium sized - approximately 15,000 undergraduate and 4,000 graduate students. Although it is a state-supported school, it is privately chartered (the University of Pittsburgh is likewise chartered).
