These programs address the theoretical and practical aspects of designing, developing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and distributing database systems. Database managers are typically responsible for system programming, troubleshooting, and system management. Plus, the database manager helps coordinate software with other IS departments and helps management understand database technology’s value to the company’s business goals.
