: Expanding on the broad selection of high-tech programs at Strayer University, the Database Technology programs stress the process, analytic, design, planning, and engineering issues associated with database technology--a key business asset at almost all companies. These programs address the theoretical and practical aspects of designing, developing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and distributing database systems. Database managers are typically responsible for system programming, troubleshooting, and system management. Plus, the database manager helps coordinate software with other IS departments and helps management understand database technology’s value to the company’s business goals. Also available: a Bachelor of Science in Database Technology and a Diploma in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in Oracle Database Administrator or Oracle Developer. |
