: The Associate of Arts degree with a major in Criminal Justice provides instruction in current criminal justice-related issues, topics and trends. Students in this program will be given an inside view of the operations and processes of law enforcement, the courts and correctional institutions. In addition to learning about theory and practice, students will be exposed to the latest applied technology within each component of the system. Also, students will have an opportunity to speak and interact with current criminal justice practitioners. The program of study will prepare graduates for entry-level employment positions in the criminal justice field*, corrections and the courts, as well as provide an opportunity for advancement for those already employed in the criminal justice field. |
