| Master of Divinity | Philosophy | M | Liberty University | ▤ | |||||||||||
| Description | |||||||||||||||
| The Master of Divinity (M.Div) is the standard professional degree for ministry and is 90 hours. A student can use all 45 hours from the M.A.R. towards the M.Div upon completion of the M.A.R., so we usually recommend that students who want the M.Div. complete the M.A.R. first. Both M.A.R. and M.Div. allow for concentrations (15 hours) in areas such as church growth, pastoral counseling, or worship studies. Many students in this program are in their 30’s or 40’s, and are presently in a non-ministry profession, but sense God’s call to ministry and are therefore persuing a second career. Others are presently in ministry but never received seminary training. Others are in ministry and started their training at their denominated school, but took a church before completing the M.Div., and therefore transfer their work from a previous seminary and use our school to complete their degree. | |||||||||||||||
| Master of Divinity (Concentration: Practical Theology) | Philosophy | M | Regent University | ▤ | |||||||||||

| Master of Engineering | Engineering | M | University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign | ▤ | |||||||||||
| Description | |||||||||||||||
| The UIC College of Engineering has developed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree program offered worldwide on the internet. The MEng is a professional degree based entirely on course work, without a research component. The program is administered directly by the UIC College of Engineering. This program has been approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. In Illinois, in the United States, and in the rest of the world there exists a vast population of adults who already have a university education at the bachelor level and who would like to expand and update their knowledge by taking additional course work at the graduate level resulting, in many cases, in a master`s degree. Up to now, many of these potential students have been unable to realize their educational dreams because they reside in a geographical area remote from a research university campus, or because of work or family obligations that do not allow them to pursue their educational goals in a synchronous classroom environment, or because of disability. | |||||||||||||||
