Techniques and tools specific to discrete time and frequency domain analysis such as the difference equation, Z transform, convolution, correlation, time domain filtering and Fast Fourier transforms are introduced, as are their applications to digital communications, digital audio and image processing problems. Computer-aided filter design is included.
