Program Detail	: In this course, students gain experience in using microcomputer networks. Microprocessor memory, storage and input/output (I/O) peripheral functions are addressed. In addition, the course examines firmware and software components in an integrated and complete computer system. Students explore, compare and contrast modern desktop operating systems, such as the Windows family of operating systems. Graphical user interfaces (GUIs), along with basic I/O systems software, are also studied.
