Program Detail	: Through the use of lectures and audio-visual materials, this course will focus on a number of psychological perspectives. Then, through the use of the case method, a variety of abnormal conditions including schizophrenia, manic-depressive psychosis, sexual deviations, psychosomatic reactions, and situational disorders will be examined. Since this course does not have as one of its aims the preparation of therapists, treatment methods will be given limited attention. This course qualifies as a General Education credit and is an elective course for the Certificate in the Study of Human Behaviour and the Certificate in Intercultural Relations.
