Program Detail	: An evaluation of environmental factors or stresses in the workplace as they relate to the control of work injuries and/or impaired health. These include hazards, such as chemical, physical and biological agents, radiation and extremes of pressure, temperature and humidity. The principle method of environmental risk assessment covered in this course is the occupational hygiene audit. A critical view is taken of health surveillance practices for workers at risk, based on interpretation of audit data. The independent and interdependent roles of the OHN and the industrial hygienist are compared and contrasted.
