Program Detail	: This course, in conjunction with the financial accounting course (AC593), prepares students to pass the CPA exam?s financial accounting and reporting section. Coursework covers taxation; managerial, governmental and not-for-profit organizations; and federal taxation of individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts and exempt organizations. Also discussed are managerial accounting applications for analyzing and interpreting information for planning and control. The course focuses on analyzing and identifying relevant information and alternative accounting and reporting policies appropriate for different situations. (The course is two semester-credit hours.)
