| Program Detail | : In this course, students will be instructed in the methodology and techniques for achieving good digital production illustration and design. Areas of focus will include digital retouch with the use of midtone; highlight and shadow balance; studio product shoots involving key, fill, and back lighting techniques; and compositional layouts with product positioning and related use of props (GOBO, SNOOTS, PHOTO GELS, FILTERS, STROBES etc.) and other photographic materials. Upon completion of this course, students should (through product enhancement techniques) be able to successfully digitize and enhance product shoots for printed publications. | |||
