| Program Detail | : This course is a study of how media, entertainment, and other private mediums portray government by examining the depiction of public sector employees and public institutions on how prime time series, radio, interviews, Internet, and film reflects a great deal about service and the role of the citizen. Students will study the perception of the media of government as it relates to public service, core institutions of government, the political system, and its administrative apparatus. This course also examines media trends and discerns their impact upon the willingness of and ability to contribute to a democracy though government service. | |||
