Texts, narratives, documents, and ethnographic accounts are interpreted in light of critical theory and analysis, using ethnology, ethnohistory, archaeology, and literature. Colonial history, colonialism, representation, indigenous "voices," and strategies of resistance and cultural survival will be examined. | |||
