Students examine how Jewish traditions have adapted (or have not) within the context of modern society and study Jewish ideas and beliefs within the context of historical events and cultural trends. Issues such as the ongoing debate between inductive and deductive reasoning in Jewish thought will be explored as well as the affects globalization on Jewish culture. |
