| Program Detail | : Focuses on digital communications and the technologies, switching systems, transmission modalities, networks architectures and their interoperabilites. You will learn how to prepare and evaluate technical request for proposals (RFPs) and SWOT analyses, to describe how voice and data are digitized and sent over networks, the technologies required for digital communications, case study analysis and network diagramming. Research and analytical skills will be deepened through SWOT analyses, case studies and general research. Ethical considerations for RFP generation will be discussed, as will global assessment of digital communications. Prerequisite: TM 301 or consent of the department. | |||
