| Program Detail | : The courses consists of an appraisal of the national strengths and weaknesses affecting the strategic posture of Europe, explores U.S., Russian and other Former Soviet Union (FSU) states? roles and interests in Europe and assesses current political, social and economic trends in Europe and their impact on both U.S. and European security interests. Students will develop an appreciation for the intelligence challenges facing intelligence community as they consider the sociopolitical, economic, and military problems in Europe following the collapse of communism and the impetus toward European unification provided by the European Union (EU). This course is available to those seeking a certificate in Area Intelligence Analysis. | |||
