Program Detail	: This course will look at ethics and morality in the context of US intelligence activities. Students will be exposed to a short history and survey of several ethical theories. Since the intelligence profession covers many aspects of responsibility, students study moral obligations of intelligence work and the moral attributes of the intelligence officer. Discussions will focus on the US intelligence worker as a public servant and students will explore the role of professional ethics in the conduct of public administration. Also covered are duties and responsibilities of other professional ethical codes of conduct. Finally, students will be given a working knowledge of the various legal aspects of intelligence work and the different laws and committees that oversee the intelligence community.
