: This course is a study of intelligence, ethnic conflict, and international intervention. It focuses on a variety of aspects related to various regional conflicts around the world, the ability of intelligence analysts to predict these conflicts, and the participation of the international community in ethnic civil wars. The student will develop a comprehensive understanding of the history of various regional conflicts, how these conflicts potentially affect both international and national security, and when and why the international community intervenes to attempt peacemaking and conflict resolution.
