| Program Detail | : After history's largest tank battle at Prokhorovka, the Soviets beganto plan Bagration. Despite British reservations concerning a cross channel invasion in the spring of 1944 and in concert with the Soviet crushing of German Army Group Center, US and UK's OVERLORD forces landed on Normandy's beaches. In addition to Soviet battles from Kursk to Berlin, this study of WWII's final years will focus on Anglo-American campaigns across France and into Germany, analyzing strategy, tactics and leadership. | |||
