Emphasis will be placed on understanding and applying various regulatory requirements such as the National Labor Relations Act, the Social Security Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Civil Rights Acts of 1866, 1871, 1964, and 1991, Executive Order 11246, Revised Order No. 4, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, Immigration Reform and Control Act, Texas Pay Day Law, and other employment statutes. Extensive examination of court decisions will be utilized.
