: Ideal for plant managers, supervisors and engineers, this eLearning course assumes that the student has a fundamental knowledge of telephony. This course covers all aspects of telephony, including Public Switched Telephone Networks (PSTN), Hybrid Fiber/Coax (HFC) and Internet Protocol (IP) as well as valuable troubleshooting techniques and discussions on the broadband function end-to-end. Student's learn how calls are completed through the PSTN, within circuit-switched HFC networks, from HFC customer to PSTN customer and through analog circuits and packet switched networks.
