: Cable Telecommunications Installation will provide the student with the knowledge needed to install a multitude of broadband cable services. It covers the tools, materials and recommended practices used in aerial and underground drop installations as well as exterior and interior wiring at the customer's premises. Through eLearning, students will explore bonding, grounding, installation of terminal devices, and connection of the customer's equipment. In addition, students will learn to install cable modems, digital converters and telephony services. The course also presents practical methods for providing excellent customer service and using safe practices.
