| Program Detail | : CATV Professionals, the CABLE 101 eLearning introductory courses offers demonstrations and instructor-led lectures by field experts, delivered via the Internet. Individual modules provide an overview of new trends and technologies in the cable TV industry where the students can participate any time of day or night. New Jersey Institute of Technology has long been a leader in the use of varied delivery options for reaching the eLearning (distance learning) student. Personal computers and a connection to the Internet can be used in a new way to pursue education. Through integration of the personal computer, streaming video lectures and a data connection (modem), the classroom can be your home, office, or any place. Via eLearning (distance learning), Classes are open 24 hours a day / 7 days a week with a secure login. Within the set schedule for the course, which is generally a 30 day time period, students log into the online Virtual Classroom? to access the course modules, view video lectures, communicate with classmates and interact with the online instructor. While the course is self-paced in terms of access, all material is completed on a 30 day time schedule.
