Program Detail	: This course addresses the theories, concepts, practices and strategies of human resources management in the non-profit organization. Basic human resource management issues such as strategic workforce planning, hiring, training, personnel evaluation, and compensation are examined from the perspective of the non-profit organizations with their mix of paid staff and volunteers. Additionally, the impact of human resources management on the board, executive director, staff interface, volunteerism, and productivity is evaluated. Particular attention is paid to the legal responsibilities of the organization in human resource management and to the role of the Board.
