: Internship in the Minnesota Superintendency-l is the first of two consecutive courses that provide you with the academic and field experiences that are prerequisites to Minnesota superintendent licensure. The competencies you will be addressing will be available in the Media Center and are specified in Minnesota law. To earn credit for ED8923, you must also successfully complete ED8924 the following quarter. The courses need to be taken back-to-back. If you take ED8923 this quarter, you must register for ED8924 next quarter. Because Minnesota requires a single 320 hour internship, a portfolio of your entire internship experience, and a site supervisor's evaluation of your entire internship experience, you will receive an IP (in progress) if you successfully complete your work in ED8923. Your instructor will convert that IP to a letter grade and also assign a letter grade for your work in ED8924 at the conclusion of that course. Because yours is a single internship but two courses in length, you will receive the same grade for each quarter. That is, when you've completed both ED8923 and ED8924, your transcript will show two identical 4-credit grades. |
