: Internship in the Superintendency-l is the first of two consecutive courses that provide you with the academic and field experiences that are prerequisites in most states to superintendent licensure. In this internship, you will create, sign and begin to fulfill a contract with your site supervisor based on Capella's Leadership for K-12 Programs outcomes and competencies. To earn credit for ED7903, you must also successfully complete ED7904 the following quarter. The courses need to be taken back-to-back. If you take ED7903 this quarter, you must register for ED7904 next quarter. Because yours is a single 320 hour internship taken over two quarters, you will receive an IP (in progress) if you successfully complete your work in ED7903. Your instructor will convert that IP to a letter grade and also assign a letter grade for your work in ED7904 at the conclusion of that course. You will receive the same grade for each quarter. That is, when you've completed both ED7903 and ED7904, your transcript will show two identical 4-credit grades. |
