Communications between these systems also must occur securely to prevent unauthorized access to the data or corruptions of the data. This course will explore the key concepts of operating system and application design from the perspective of security and emphasize the importance of securing database access. It will also illustrate the importance of software development and maintenance processes that impact security. Further, this course analyzes how Cryptography addresses the principles, means, and methods of disguising information to ensure its integrity, confidentiality, and authenticity. Learners should understand basic algorithm construction. |
