: This course will examine the architecture of .NET and also explore how applications utilize this architecture to create .NET enabled applications. The Microsoft .NET technology will become the backbone of Microsoft's network solutions and development environment. Migration from COM to .NET will be discussed including its enhanced support for the object oriented programming model. Also, the impact of .NET on current Microsoft technologies will be explored. .NET Web Services will be presented clarifying its role in supporting Web application development. Learners gain experience with ASP.NET to create a .NET enabled Web application. C# examples will be presented in light of its support for .NET. Learners are required to take TS8803 before taking this course. |
