: This course introduces the learner to key components for project integration management and the processes required to ensure that elements of a project are properly coordinated. Learners will be challenged to look for ways to bring project excellence to their projects. The role of the project manager as an integrator will be discussed along with the tradeoffs among competing objectives and alternatives. The need for a project management strategy and an understanding of stakeholder identification and analysis will be discussed. The importance of a comprehensive approach to change control will be reviewed and highlighted. Learners will gain an understanding of overall project management, including successful project implementation, systems thinking, problem solving, and the skills, roles, and expectations of project managers. |
