: This course introduces object oriented analysis and design concepts using the Universal Modeling Language (UML) and the Java programming language. Sound practices for the design, construction, testing and debugging of object-oriented software applications are emphasized. Specific attention is given to use cases as a means of describing behavioral software requirements. This course also introduces patterns and object oriented architectures. A problem-based approach to object-oriented analysis and design concepts is used in this course. |
