: This course provides an overview of the evolving wireless technologies and the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP). WAP is the de facto worldwide standard for providing Internet communications and advanced telephony services on digital mobile phones pagers, personal digital assistants and other wireless terminals. Learners will use simulation software to design and debug wireless web applications using Wireless Markup Language (WML) or Handheld Device Markup Language (HDML) for Internet-enabled phones. This course provides an introduction to related technologies like Bluetooth and includes an overview of mobile telephony architecture. Learners are required to take TS7010 prior to taking this course. |
