: An introduction to the basic chemistry and overall structure of the most important biological macromolecules, the course studies enzyme catalysis, cellular architecture, and intermediary metabolism (carbohydrates, amino acids, lipids, and nucleotides), including special processes such as photosynthesis, biological oxidation, and energy production.
