| Program Detail | : Designed for those who have developed a strong feature film premise, story outline, and approximately 30-50 pages of a script, this course guides students to make as much progress as possible toward the completion of a solid first draft. The instructor and participants begin by reviewing all students' outlines and pages. Then the focus shifts to helping them to develop a successful second and third act, with special attention given to structure, character development, emotional content, and cinematic style. The workshop environment provides participants with a powerful forum to assess their own writing strengths and areas for improvement as they exchange constructive criticism with peers. Students also acquire self-editing techniques essential for the professional writer. | |||
