| Program Detail | : College-bound students encounter a series of standardized examinations as they progress toward college admission. The PSAT/NMSQT, SAT I and II, ACT, and Advanced Placement Tests are the most widely known and given. This online course describes what each exam tests for, the validity of test results, and issues of bias. The effect of coaching also is addressed. In the realm of career planning, there are numerous career inventories that can help students--both college-bound and otherwise--identify their career interests and propensities; some of the more widely used career instruments are highlighted. | |||
