Program Detail	: This course presents an intensive consideration of culture and diversity; their impact on instruction; and issues related to demographics, migrations, and immigration. Instruction focuses on the nature and manifestations of culture, as well as methods and strategies for learning about cultural differences and similarities. Issues of racism also are examined. Participants evaluate their personal attitudes toward people of different cultural, linguistic, racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and individuals with disabilities.
