| Program Detail | : Today's documentation is more complex than ever before because today's audiences are more demanding than ever before. Technical communicators must be able to prepare print, online, and multimedia products using color, movement, animation, and sound in addition to traditional design elements. In this online course, students learn the skills necessary to design and present complex technical documentation for delivery on paper, online, and via multimedia. They review project management fundamentals from project inception through distribution, learn criteria for selecting documentation tools and techniques, and examine the physics of color and light in document design. Course exercises emphasize the musts of paper, online, and multimedia design. At the end of this course, students should understand the hows and whys of design choices based on document delivery. | |||
