Program Detail	: The goal of this course is to develop critical thinking skills to solve applied problems. You will receive 12 problem sets which cover a range of logistics and supply chain topics. The course starts off with simple problems and increases in difficulty. The problems may require the student to have downloaded, or printed, material ahead of time, and it is assumed the student has access to EBSCO to allow access to recommended articles for reading. Recommended readings will be identified.

The University of North Texas (UNT) is located in Denton, Texas. Founded in 1890 as Texas Normal College and Teacher Training Institute, in 1893 it became North Texas Normal College, and then, in 1893, North Texas State Normal College. Subsequently, it evolved into North Texas State Teachers College (1923), North Texas State College (1949), and North Texas State University (1961), before being renamed UNT in 1988. It is now the largest university in the north Texas area, with more than 30,000 students.
