Faculty include physicians and professors from the UIC College of Medicine and School of Public Health, as well as from outside the institution. The course design provides each participant with an opportunity to not only view materials but to engage in discussion and debate using electronic bulletin boards that are moderated by the faculty. To facilitate the exchange of ideas and information, residents are assigned to small groups that remain together for all of the modules. Credit for participation in each module is awarded upon completion. | |||||||||||||||
