The Baccalaureate of the Registered Nurse (BRN) major is an innovative program that enables registered nurses who prefer a non-traditional educational approach to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The program is designed to build on basic nursing knowledge, enhancing nursing practice in an increasingly complex society.

The BRN major is offered in a distance learning format to maximize educational opportunities for registered nurses. Students may join the program either through participating worksites, including community colleges, or as individuals. Courses are taught by faculty in the Department of Nursing at the University of Delaware.

The Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing emphasizing a knowledge base and clinical skills in cognitive therapy, is designed to prepare Clinical Nurse Specialists. Cognitive therapy, an empirically validated form of psychotherapy, is effective across a broad range of client needs and age ranges. Additional treatment modalities include psychopharmacology and group psychotherapy to prepare graduates for the ANCC certification in either Child and Adolescent or Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. The program will include both traditional campus classes and web-based course delivery. Clinical resources include a variety of sites in Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Clinical sites for distance students will be negotiated on an individual basis.
The Masters Degree (M.E.E.) Engineering M University of Delaware
Description
This program is intended to satisfy the continuing education needs of working engineers and recent graduates who want to broaden their electrical engineering foundation before starting an industrial career. Financial aid is usually not available to students taking this program. The non-thesis master's program requires 30 credit hours of course work meeting the following requirements:

- Six credits of foundation electrical engineering courses.
- 24 credits of advanced technical courses related to the student's area of interest. At least six credits of these must be of 800 level electrical engineering courses and at most six credits can bear non-ELEG numbers.
