| The purpose of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program is to prepare students for entry-level management positions in business, industry, and not-for-profit organizations. This program includes quality undergraduate-level development in business administration areas with special emphasis in global applications and ethical considerations. | The Computer Science curriculum has the following distinctive characteristics: Oriented towards viewing the computer as a processor as well as a computation tool; this is in keeping with twenty-first century trends where the computer is viewed as being process and solutions oriented. - A business rather than a mathematical context. - Web Centric – assumes the web is the network. - Web Services – linkages of legacy systems and business to business, business to vendor, business to customer services/interaction. | Comprehensive emergency and disaster management is a complex field that requires expertise in multiple areas. Most emergency professionals are trained in the procedures for successfully managing the typical emergencies within their own professions, such as fires, earthquake, flooding, hurricanes, and radiation or highway accidents. However, preparation for responding to multi-faceted emergencies, such as the World Trade Center attack, is often limited. Responding to the emerging demand, TUI has developed a state of the art program in emergency response and disaster management. The Certificate in Emergency and Disaster Management program requires completion of sixteen semester credits. These four four-unit classes may be completed in six months if the student completes two classes in each of two twelve-week sessions. | |||||||||||||||

| The Doctor of Philosophy represents the highest level of achievement in any academic discipline. Touro University International is proud to offer a research degree resulting in a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration. Students who earn this degree are qualified to enter academia or the top levels of business or government service. These graduates will have demonstrated excellence in their pursuit of academic study in their selected field. As with any quality Ph.D. degree, the work is challenging but the rewards are substantial. For students with a Master's degree in a business related field, this program consists of 44 semester credit hours (which can be completed in six sessions with a full-time load) plus a research dissertation. | The Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership (Ph.D. EL) prepares professionals from various levels of education for K-12, higher education and beyond as leaders, educators, researchers, and scholars. The focus of the PhD program is educational leadership. The student selects from the following concentrations: K-12 Leadership, Higher Education Leadership, or the E-Learning Leadership option, within the Ph.D. program. All students will develop scholarly and research abilities directed toward the creation of new knowledge, original application and/or transmission of existing knowledge, as demonstrated by a PhD dissertation. 1. The Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership degree consists of 48 semester course credits. Following the completion of the course work, students will register for the DEL 700 series (8 credits) every session until the dissertation is completed. The time needed to complete the dissertation depends upon the individual student. 2. The curriculum has three components: Core Courses: Students from various areas of the educational profession come together to pursue knowledge and research skills that underpin all doctoral study. 3. Concentration Courses: Either K-12 Leadership, Higher Education Leadership, or E-Learning Leadership. Dissertation: Students demonstrate a synthesis of their doctoral study, knowledge and scholarship toward the resolution of an actual problem or need within their selected discipline. The coursework in the doctoral program may be completed in one year and two sessions if the student takes a full load of eight credits (two courses) each session. All courses are valued at four semester credits. The last course that is taken is the DEL 699-Dissertation Seminar. | |||||||||||||||

Touro University International has joined the few universities who provide opportunities to complete a BS degree at the student's location with no residency requirement. The BS in Health Sciences-Health Care Management will provide IDC's the opportunity to enhance their knowledge base to obtain advanced educational credentials and to be eligible for promotion in the Navy. Touro University International developed a specifically tailored BS in Health Sciences-degree completion program for IDC's. The program is built on the strengths of the IDC program and provides a combination of opportunities to fulfill requirements for a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (BSHS)- Health Care Management.
