Providing practical, hands-on clinical experience above and beyond graduate-level coursework, this specialization is designed to prepare you for marriage and family therapy state or provincial licensure examinations. Focusing on therapy, the program includes 24 courses, 120 hours of face-to-face residencies, 100 hours practicum experience and 900 hours internship experience. The internship allows you to work with and learn from practicing professionals, as well as operate more autonomously in a clinical setting. Throughout your program, you'll find the knowledge and skills training you gain is readily applicable to providing better care in your own marriage and family practice. |
