Bishop's University is an English language undergraduate liberal arts university located in Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada. It is one of the smaller universities in Canada; there were 1,900 full time undergraduate students enrolled in the university in 2000. It was founded in 1843.
In addition to its arts and sciences programs, Bishop's also has a business school (the Williams School of Business and Economics) and a School of Education.
The Bishop's campus spans 550 acres (2 km?) at the junction of the St. Francis and Massawippi Rivers. It is located in the Eastern Townships section of Quebec, a region that is known for its skiing and other outdoor recreation activities.
