Both the Atlanta and New Orleans Herzing Colleges are senior colleges accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS -- 750 First Street, NE, Suite 980, Washington, DC 20002-4242) to award bachelor degrees, associate degrees and diplomas. The Orlando Herzing College is a junior college accredited by ACICS to award associate degrees and diplomas. The ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree-granting institutions also is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
