Bolton Institute is now a university and prides itself on being a groundbreaking and distinctive higher education institution where academic rigor is combined with vocational relevance.
It became the North West's newest university in April 2004 when the Privy Council approved University Title for the Institute. The institute is now complying with legal requirements and consulting with partners and stakeholders around the world as to what that title should be. This process should be completed shortly and an announcement should be made before 2005. |
