Institute of Technology, Tralee (ITT) located in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland originally called Regional Technical College, Tralee, it was established in 1977.
The institute is divided into two campuses, the north campus located in Dromtacker, Tralee and the south campus located in Clash, Tralee. The north campus specializes in business and computer studies, whilst the south campus handles most other subjects. The south campus has been in operation since the opening of the institute, while the north campus has been open since 2001. The continuing development of the north campus will eventually lead to the entire institute being relocated to Dromtacker.
Situated on the same site in Dromtacker is the Kerry Technology Park, owned and operated by Shannon Development. The Park and the Institute often work closely together, developing curricula and providing an exchange of students to work in the Park. |
