Wittenberg University is a small, private, four-year liberal arts college located in Springfield, Ohio. Founded in 1842 in Wooster, Ohio, Wittenberg moved three years later to its present location.

The college is named after the University of Wittenberg in Germany, where Martin Luther posted his famous 95 theses.
The campus body is made up of 2,000 students and 145 full-time faculty members. Sport teams are known as the Tigers, however, the school color is red not orange. The Wittenberg football team is the top scoring team in the nation. |
