The University of Toledo is one of the nation's Research I accredited schools. With a large number of majors, Toledo is the school of choice for many students wanting an affordable and quality public education. The university is nationally known for its pharmacy, engineering, and law programs, and all of its programs in the college of Arts and Science achieve a level of national success.
Many of Toledo's sports teams vie each year for the Mid-American Conference championship, and the football team has been ranked nationally many different years.
