Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, also know as SVCE, is an upcoming premier institute of Engineering in India. The college is located in Pennalur, near Chennai. Established in 1985, the college has under-went rapid progress since then.
The college , run by the SPIC, a prominent petro-chemical conglomerate in India, has been rated the best college in the city of Chennai, in more than one occasion. The Alumni of the institution are successfully placed in several leading companies. Some of them have completed PhD from prestigious universities like, UIUC, University of Texas and IIT. Few have started up their own companies. The college, which is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai, is the most preferred destination for several aspiring engineers in Tamilnadu.
